Mother Nature can be Cruel!

Judy and I got to enjoy an afternoon run in 43 degree temperatures! It felt like spring! Of course, next week is suppose to be in the in the mid teens! Well, at least we got out an enjoyed it today.

My new favorite sock both for everyday and running - SmartWool. I have the running style (medium mini crew) and love them. I think they wick water away better the my balegas. I also have everyday ones that keep my feet warm, but not sweaty! I decide to branch out from my black, blue and white and got the Margarita's (multi-colored). I guess I am starting to live life on the edge!

Here is a video for all you lovers of dread, I mean, treadmills.

Wednesday Morning blah

Well, we were out there. C, J and I. I am sure we were all glad we did it at the end, but I am sure our beds are missing us! Streets are clearing off making it easier to run. Plus we got smart and do the hill first. Fitness class today too.

Time to change the quote

A good morning run. No falls. I am a little sore today, but not sure if it is from the fall or fitness class. Since there is nothing exciting to report, I figured it was time to change the quote. I read it this weekend in an article about courage. I think it is appropriate for all those thinking about doing a marathon (or any other race for that matter). Maybe it will inspire Christy!

You know you are a runner when...

you take a digger while running. Yep, it happened to me this morning. I rolled my ankle off the edge of the sidewalk and took a spill. I have a nice little raspberry on my knee and my ankle is a little tender, but I was still able to run albeit a little more carefully!

What other things make you feel like a "runner"? I add running in below zero temperatures and running in the rain.

Also, Mike was wondering what log program/website I used on my blog. I put a link in my "Most Used Links" on the right-hand side, but here is a link to the log too.

A nice 5.5 mile run with Julianne and Mike this am. We got more snow and it wasn't frigid so it was like running in sand. The one good thing about frigid weather is everything is crunchy rather than mushy.
